Culture Club will begin again on October 1st! It will end on Feb. 4. Held every Wednesday from: to 4:50-6:00 in room A201, upstairs 8th grade pod, Marks-Berner room. WE will focus on art, music and culture of various places around the world. (Limited sign up to 20.) Sign up sheets will go up by Thursday, Sept 11.

What is FCA about?
We will talk about Jesus and build relationships. We will be studying a Bible plan together and just learning from one another to be better followers of Christ. We will sing songs. We will have at least one guest speaker a month. Breakfast and drinks will also be provided from volunteers for each huddle. 

National Junior Art Honor Society (NJAHS)

Quist's chapter of the National Junior Art Honor Society (NJAHS) was founded in the spring of 2025. Sponsored by Mr. Beach and through the National Art Education Association (NAEA), NJAHS recognizes and inspires our students who show outstanding passion and dedication to the visual arts.

Through an application process, students are selected to join and commit to developing their artistic skills while promoting character, scholarship, leadership, and community service through art. Members actively participate in chapter activities, contribute to service hours, and engage in opportunities for peer recognition, leadership development, and potential publication in NAHS News and the NAHS Virtual Gallery.

NJAHS provides a community where young artists can share their talents, grow as leaders, and use their creativity to make a positive impact.

New members will be inducted on September 10.

The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is a prestigious organization that recognizes middle school students who demonstrate excellence in scholarship, leadership, service, citizenship, and character. Membership is by application only and is open to students who meet high academic and behavioral standards.

NJHS members actively participate in a variety of service projects throughout the year, giving back to their school and local community while building leadership skills and making a positive impact. Being part of NJHS is both an honor and a responsibility, and we’re proud of the students who rise to the challenge.

WEB is an 8th grade leadership program designed to welcome and support incoming 6th graders as they transition to middle school. Selected 8th grade students serve as mentors, guiding younger students through their first year by offering friendship, encouragement, and helpful advice.

Through activities, events, and one-on-one support, WEB leaders create a positive and inclusive school community where every student feels valued and connected.
